For March, Marc DeSouza acted as our friendly Master of Ceremonies for the annual auction. As always, even members who did not bid on a single item received an education in the origin and use of a huge variety of items up for bid.

In addition to regular auction items, we had two estate sales with items up for sale. many high bids. Card expert Paul Rooney’s Estate  and Rich Mach were the estates. Books went

Sets of DVDs went for bargain prices: Nathan Kranzo’s TEARify, Ken Scott’s Birthday Dough CD-Rom, and Mike Ammar’s Any Signed Card to Wallet with gimmick.  We had “Slum” magic, as well as full size Sub Trunk and a Quick Change set of dresses.

Over $2,000 changed hands. The club got a ten percent fee on each item sold. Marc did his masterful job for nearly three hours of auctioneering. Now, if we can only see some of this magic being performed at upcoming meetings!
