This month’s event was our own Chris Fabiano, presenting his superb lecture titled “Strong and Simple Mentalism.” From his unbelievable “Restaurant Night” to the inexplicable “Don’t Stop Believing,” he presented an astounding routine, a tapestry of magic. He followed up with a complete exposition of methods using blindfolds, surprisingly subtle forces, and expert card handling. Furthermore, Chris explained his ideas on layering a routine to make what would otherwise be a bundle of disjointed tricks into a coherent magical presentation.
